Columbia Gas of Virginia

This project involved converting warehouses located on a former military base into the regional customer service headquarters for Columbia Gas of Virginia, a NiSource Company. The scope includes a complete demolition of the interior, extensive abatement, reskinning the block exterior with a new masonry/stucco finish and expanding the existing floorplan. The one story building is approximately 20,475 sf with 15’‐18’ ceilings; in addition to administrative offices, new spaces incorporate a fitness area with lockers/showers, welding shop addition and warehouse storage. The energy efficient design was built to meet LEED silver certification. Miller Brothers successfully worked through the challenging weather conditions with strategic scheduling of site work.

The owner’s rep, Mr. Clyde Sana, remarks, “Miller Brothers is a fine organization with qualified leadership and outstanding in project performance!!”.
